Being a caretaker is the weirdest work I ever did. My client - I call her granny - is a very old lady with dementia. Some days she does not recognize me, some days she thinks I'm her daughter-in-law. Some days she cries because she realizes she's not herself anymore. Some days she hugs me and thanks me that I'm here with her. Some days she gets so sick it seems like she might die.
