Question for Canadians 🇨🇦 I’ve been creating a lot more content for Canadian brands and always get stuck on whether to use U.K. or US English. Seems like a mix of the two sometimes? Which English do you use? Or do you just mix and match 😫

4 小時內	Yamo chan yamo_chan	Like most said, it is a mix and match. But most of the time it is US words with UK spelling. I highly doubt there is any hard set rule that can work across the board though. More of a learn as you go kind of language. Sorry!

6 小時內	J 🍌 jkirstyn	LMAO good luck! Honestly, it really depends even down to the city of what people use from my experience. I would recommend getting into Canadian Press style (CP style) if you’re aiming for consistency!

7 小時內	Paula IsTired paulaistired_	I personally use UK English. But honestly I do not think it matters. As long as you are consistent in what you use. Do not mix UK and US English in the same sentence/paragraph- that would be the only “wrong” usage that I would identify.

9 小時內	Maddi Newman newman.maddi	Definitely UK spellings. I even use plough and faerie! Sometimes I'll call the trunk my boot. And a few other examples like that. I'm not fond of the American culture these days, so I don't want to become assimilated by it. Spelling keeps it in check. That's check, but giving you money would be "cheque".
