I worked at a company where the CEO would walk around the building late on Friday afternoons and pat all of the women on their heads. That was back in the late 1970’s. The first credit card I got, my dad had to co-sign for. He also had to co-sign my first car loan. Trump and Project 2025 want to take us back to those times. Not happening!

I had a job as a paralegal, with relevant experience education, and made $20k less than my male counterpart without that experience and education. I’ve also told I’m intimidating and aggressive because I advocate for myself and am assertive.

I also had a college professor say that it was a woman’s job to raise children and they’d have to take their babies in and set them on the file cabinet. I got up and walked out. I complained to my advisor and the dean. He was “just trying to start conversation.” No, sir. I changed my major because he was the only one who taught the last two classes I needed. 😅

Was told to wear makeup and skirts - 2006 😒… I did not

I have consistently been called “good little girl” by men the same age or older, had a boss blindside me stating that he needed me to go to a last minute conference with him only to find out he got one hotel room and NO CONFERENCE, I had a boss call me & tell me I needed to report to daddy’s office”, same boss would come in to my office & ask me to stand up & turn around so he could “see how I looked today”, had a colleague tell me that being an assertive woman is unattractive, the list goes on.

I was email shamed at a past job for being “too short”, even when I had my male colleague write my emails (he was never email shamed).

I worked in tech support and a man asked for a supervisor because he didn't believe a woman would be able to solve his issue. 🙄
