Wow the Dept of Education is a 200 billion waste of money! Educator friends shouldnt education all be controlled at a local level? Why would we let it be controlled at a federal or even state level? Any thoughts?

15 小時內	FrankieTeaches frankieteaches	It’s not “controlled” at the federal level. Please research Federal, state, local funding per your state and then local district. Federal funding for US public schools by dept of ED is approximately 14% of funding schools receive for oversight and law of IDEA, TITLE IX and other programs. If those funds disappear…the state and local entities will have to find funding to continue providing those services…they’ll be asking tax payers for it.
