I just wanna preface with the fact that I am white as hell so if these are stupid questions, my sincere apologies, but I plan to wear a keffiyeh on the runway as a political/humanitarian statement towards Canada (with how complicit our government is) as well as the fashion industry, and was wondering if it would 1) be disrespectful to dye it a different color? and 2) if it wouldn’t be disrespectful, would it be more difficult for people to tell what it is? Any advice appreciated, thank you.
