This “man cold” has taken me out, so I'm lyin' in my bed, kinda wishing I had someone to lean on, even just for a little while. Being a single mom, I’m used to handling things on my own, but sometimes—especially when I’m sick—I just wish there was someone here to make me tea, tell me to stay in bed, and remind me it’s okay to rest. It’s these moments that make going it alone feel extra heavy.
