I bought my dog from a breeder. I'd never had a dog before, I wanted a companion for my sports and a local shelter with questionable morals had poisoned me away from adopting. I didn't expect how quickly my dog would become absolutely everything to me and soften my heart so much. I wouldn't change what I did but I will never purchase a dog again. I know too much about their loving nature now to leave one in a shelter if I have the opportunity not to, in the future.
