I’ve been dwelling on this larger concept of how society has purposely shoved the bad parts of the human life cycle into the closet. It’s SO important to learn about disease and death and tragedy and to a degree expose yourself to those kinds of less fun parts of life. Failure to do so creates a distinct lack of empathy and digs a VERY preventable hole for people health-wise
