There is a fine line between a man providing for a woman and a man doing everything in his power to provide but can’t do so adequately yet. Both demonstrate masculinity, but the latter may be looked down upon because he hasn’t made it yet. Just remember; if you aren’t there for the lows, you don’t deserve to be there during the highs.
