My kids like Thanksgiving Day foods, but what they really want is mom’s homemade creamy turkey and rice soup that comes from making a turkey. It was a small Thanksgiving this year for our family, we actually ate at Flemmings on Thursday. But I had to bake a turkey for the sole purpose of making turkey soup. To my family this tradition is the most memorable.
