going into labor, yes period cramps. but 5+ hours into active labor?? yeah steroids like she said lol but i had 2/3 all natural! it’s really mind over matter and your breathing.

Id describe it more as bad gas pain. It starts like period cramps then builds up

Who are all these people who say labor isn’t that bad?? When I had to push my son out, I almost passed out the pain was so strong.

I can tolerate up to about 7-8 cm dilated and then after that it feels like the lower half of my body is trying to rip itself apart and I start to black out from the pain. I’ve never found anyone who has described it accurately according to how I FEEL about it. It does not feel like period cramps in any way. I’ve had 3 babies and I’m pregnant with my 4th so, obviously being ripped apart from the inside isn’t a huge deterrent for me. But that’s just how it feels.
