It’s one of those weird things in America. If you don’t have the proper “no trespassing” set-up in your state anyone can walk up and knock on your door during the day. I find those folks annoying, but I also kinda like that it normalizes the idea that people can still solicit to me if I answer the door…and that I can slam said door in their face after saying “no…leave”. And serves as a reminder that law enforcement can do the same thing.
