I received the invoice for a recent bookstore signing and it was missing a sale. I sold one more book than they had listed. The wonderful manager did some investigating and found that someone had changed their mind, left my book at the cash. The thing is, the book was personalized & signed and now I can’t resell it.😕 I paid for that copy (indies don’t get their books for free) and now I’m out the fee I would’ve earned on its sale.
