I had the bluedot post-election convo with my dad today. I had a suspicion who he voted for and I was really hoping that I was either wrong or, at the least, that he was realizing he’d made a mistake after the events of the past week. Let’s just say I started crying so much in the middle of the convo that he just had to hang on the line, listening to my sobs and wait for me to be able to talk again. 幾秒內	Siobhan siomoony	I told him one of the reasons this is difficult for me is because of the parallels between why I left a toxic work place and the election outcome. Women have to jump through so many hoops to prove themselves more than capable and white men can do whatever they want, including abuse women, and still get the job/promotion. He did agree about that, but said it’s better than it was prior to the 60’s. He doesn’t get it and I felt crushed. (2/4)
