The feds charged me 53$ a MONTH for participating. I got a full time job and ditched that lousy coverage. Not retiring until I have to.

Yes. I’m a retired nurse. Our healthcare system is terrible. I’m 70. Open enrollment yearly with constant robo calls and commercials on TV. Pharmaceuticals issues. I get my Xarelto from Canada. Medicine and Medicare being so confusing especially because people are older and sicker. I had to spin my mom down for Medicaid. Very hard to find a good nursing facility for her.

Yes, it is awful/confusing sorting through Medicare plans. My husband and I had two long sessions via zoom (FREE) through an organization(I live in the Bay Area) with very well-trained volunteers that go through all choices, contrasting them. I also posted on our Nextdoor and Lamorinda Families asking for recommendations/feedback. I got 150 responses!It was clear what to avoid (Medicare Advantage programs) and what people were pleased with- AARP United Healthcare Supplemental Plan G or Kaiser!

Yes, my mom paid 30 years into her long-term care plan. She fell again, broke her hip and pelvis again, n finally moved in to AL. But her plan hasn't paid a dime yet.
