What’s the kind of therapist that asks a lot of questions and makes you go deep? I’ve looked for Freudian, Jungian, and attachment theory but not finding much. I need more than “deep breaths” and what’s coming up now?”

I had fabulous luck searching for a Buddhist therapist. It’s not that the therapist is Buddhist, it’s just the merger of mindfulness and psychology. Since I’m already a meditator, we integrate specific meditations a lot. We’ve worked through attachment styles, IFS, use EMDR… it’s very holistic.

Narrative also falls into that and you’re more likely to find that. Also even deep breath therapists should be asking deep questions
