I have a rule that i personally follow on threads. I look for threads that have very few comments so I can give them some interaction and so that they dont feel like no one sees them. I stay away from commenting on threads that have a lot of comments because 99% of the time none of them are read by the threader or interacted with and are basically clickbait to get reactions and engagements. The threader very rarely cares in that instance and the commenters are literally only a statistic to them.
