Coffee drinkers, what’s a good brand that you can get at the supermarket? I’ve been drinking Folgers for years, but lately it’s seeming very bland. It could be that I just need a new coffee maker, but still, I’m curious about what brands you like. Coffee Threads

My favorite is from Puerto Rico: Yaucono. Publix, our grocery chain, used to sell it in the International section. But I haven't seen it for a while. Cafe Bustello is great, but strong, and it makes my heart race.

I can’t go back to supermarket coffee since I started buying whole beans from local roasters, and I find my coffee routine is so much more rewarding. Also, as I think others have noted, ensure you are running a cleaning cycle on your coffee maker with vinegar regularly; certainly no less than twice a year, although I personally try to remember to do so every 2 months.
