It truly is liberating! I host group trips but my favorite experiences are solo, hands down. As a group people often get wrapped up in the group convo, not always welcoming in new "local" conversation. Solo... for more reasons than one you are more approachable. For people like myself that seek out local connection... it's always the best time getting to understand the culture. DO IT! It will change your life!
