Hi! I’ve been on a similar journey like you only to experience that therapy was more of validation. I also faced an experience where I was told the expectations between the therapist and me weren’t aligned. As much as that feels invalidating after having given it 4+ years, I realised that it’s time to do the work by myself. Hence, I took a break from therapy after deciding to implement all the key insights. It’s been 4 months now and I think it is working. Maybe you could try that too?!
