Many drink oat milk or almond milk because of its low calorie but for my clients who just started strength training and aim for fat loss, I suggest them to drink cow’s milk. Why? 80% of the protein in cow’s milk is casein, a slow digesting, high quality protein. Slow digesting = stay longer in the body and feel fuller longer. High quality protein = great for building muscle. Thus, cow’s milk is a better recommendation for gaining muscle and losing fat 😄
