Always had something of a soft spot for Gordon Keeble, partly because in tooling terms we played a big part in their creation. Designed by Giorgetto Guigiaro at Bertoni and using a 5.4 litre Chevrolet engine, only 100 of these were produced in Eastleigh and, latterly, Southampton between 1964 and 1967. The choice of a tortoise as the company emblem was somewhat ironic for one of the fastest cars available at the time.
