People are forgetting that authors write the stories that are in THEIR heads, not the story that is in everyone else’s heads. You’re allowed to be disappointed and have opinions but to direct maliciousness towards an author because a book didn’t turn out the way you wanted is absolutely not okay. Parasocial relationships have gotten out of control.
