Caitlyn never needed someone to validate her actions and be a yes man for her, she needed someone to challenge them which is what Vi does and it literally forces Caitlyn to consider her actions and actually try to fix things, Maddie doesn’t do that. There was something about Maddie that has too many alarm bells ringing for me. As someone mentioned in this thread, she’s probably working for Ambessa.
