I’m not a writer but I love em dashes. In my opinion, they season up a sentence, while keeping it neat and tidy.

Nah, I'm oldschool. I parenthesise that shit. Though I think Pratchett's use of footnotes (he'd add hilarious footnotes in his writings) was the very best.

This but also with italics for emphasis. I've been told that it's bad form, and honestly I kinda don't care. I like it. :)
