Received my Annual Employee Review today. "Exceeds Expectations" in all categories. The only one in the whole company. A perfect score. No raise. Time to move on.

I work in a pharmacy and the three most senior technicians (including myself) only got a 10-20 cent raise over the past 2 years even though we also “exceeded expectations” 1 of us is moving to a closed pharmacy for more pay. 1 of us only works once a week bc they got a full time remote job that pays significantly more than what they get now. I’m actively looking for other jobs atm.

....did you ask for one...? Listen, I get it. They should just give it to you. I agree... But your chances of getting a raise go up exponentially if you ask for one. You know what you're worth. Go get it.

The company I used to work for deliberately capped out the highest score employees can get so that they don’t have to give a raise to employees

I was told there is "no pathway for pay award increases" in our company despite being identified as an exceptional performer. I get paid pretty much the same as someone who started last week - ive been here 10 years! jobhunting

Yeah, recognition isn't enough without proper compensation.

When I worked at Target in college they trashed me in my first review and gave me a 12 CENT increase in pay. Three months later when I gave my notice they BEGGED me to stay. Suffice to say I never went back to working for a corporation after I left there.
