so many people on social media only talk about good traveling experiences, but I am here to tell you now, Mexico is not safe for young women and or solo travelers. Please only go if you’re staying on a resort accommodations!

Just got back from being in Mexico for a month solo. Never had an issue. I’ve been there multiple times and lived in Mexico City for a year. Yes, I’ve been to Playa. This is not to say that bad things don’t happen, but the hyperbole is unnecessary. I’ve traveled to 96 countries, mostly solo. Bad things happen everywhere, even in the States.
