Community this, community that while who we are fundamentally is void of the things that build said community. Some of us can barely maintain 1:1 friendships. We omit important truths, withhold affection as a test, swallow discomfort and call it “picking out battles.” It’s a cop out. Confrontation equals finality. Most people, don’t believe they owe their friends much because most people, don’t see friendship as a necessity but as a accoutrement to “real love.”
