It is not a "people stealing product" issue. it is a "Target is greedy" issue. Last year Target's revenue was $107 billion dollars. They estimated between $700-$800 million in losses from theft. That sounds like a lot until you do the math and realize they only lost 0.7% of their revenue to theft. Or 4% of their CEO's $19 billion dollar salary.
