I would think reference to our US constitution and the separation of Church and State would go much farther than "parents rights". Teach your kid what the constitution says and how they can speak up for themselves. Take it to court. Make them review it. Make the Supreme Court review it. Separation of Church and State IS ACTUALLY REAL, while the complaint of a Trumper concerned about turning their kids gay or trans by teaching equity and equality is less based in law, fact, or reality.
