Claiming a president has the most votes in history can be misleading, as the U.S. population has grown significantly over time, naturally boosting vote totals. For perspective, the population was 226 million in 1980, 248 million in 1990, 281 million in 2000, and now stands at 331 million. Still, congratulations to Trump for securing both the popular vote and the Electoral College!
It goes the same for Democrat presidents. However, Biden has an impressive popular vote numbers, 81 million. (1/2)
