Like we’ve finally started to blend our decor together, his and mine, and his brother and his wife just constantly make fun of me, and knit pick on everything I do. how do I say this is the most basement looking basement (complimentary). traumatize them back. call them ugly. say their kids don’t like them. say their dogs and cats probably try to run away daily.

As someone who uses fake vines I understand the negative feelings towards creating a demand for plastic (that can take 100s of years to go away) vs using a plant (good for the environment) That being said, not cool that you're feeling bullied. I hope there's some type of group discussion that can resolve those negative feelings in your relationship with them All that being said, I hope you consider getting a pothos! I'm not great with plants but they're vines that don't need much light or water
