I did get a couple of belters yesterday including "I know you said you're the artist, but who *actually* painted these?" "I like your work but I'd like it better if it was *completely different* and of course..."how much? Oh no, no.."

I sell stickers, hand drawn etc and a woman came over and pointed across my stall and said ‘is this all free for kids then?’ 🫣

From this past Friday. I sell wax melts. Older lady, Karen haircut. "Well they must be good, look at your weight." Obviously she thought they were candy. And hey, it's menopause.

The vendor right next to me started taking photos of my pieces. I asked if she had any questions about them. She said “no I’m sending these to my grandma in Canada to rip them off for me.” EXACT WORDS. like seriously I tell people who want to know where I get my patterns if I purchased them or found them online. But the sheer AUDACITY of this lady blew my mind. First market I ever had too.
