You shouldn't be comparing the two of them. They are two different interpretations of the same Source material, and an entire 20 Page dissertation could be written on why if you made the book word for word into a movie it would be the most ridiculous trash ever made. While the book is entertaining and it's one of my favorites, to put it on the screen is a nightmare. It is not very well written and suffers from clarity. I like Sting and I like Butler, I love them as feyd, differences or not
