Idk if this is national or localized (I’m in Missouri) but the last few years it has become increasingly difficult to find good quality produce. I shop mostly at Aldi, price chopper, occasionally schnucks. We don’t have a local stand anymore. Everything but the overpackaged, overpriced, stuff is either in low supply or within a day or two of going bad. I try to buy in season but it hasn’t helped much. Can’t even imagine what it will be like if the bulk of the agricultural workforce is deported.
