Hi! Thanks for this. I’m wondering how polished a manuscript should be before beginning the querying process? Do you recommend hiring a copy editor? Or are read throughs by beta readers generally enough?

How do you suggest pitching multi-pov narratives? I know the industry has moved away from such novels. I always get the writing is good and premise is interesting but no connections with the material? How do I get them to trust in the product in pitch when likely never going to read beyond first sample chapters of I get that far? Established author. Several books. Looking & Wanting to expand and build upon that. Sorry if that’s a confusing question—I guess it’s not a first timer question
