My accountant friends can you possibly help me. If you collect Social Security early at 63 and your spouse is still working and has a regular income. Let’s say for arguments sake you were going to collect 3000 for Social Security. And let’s say for arguments sake, your spouse makes 100,000 a year, I know that Social Security is combined with an income. How much are you taxed? I think it’s crazy that you need to pay taxes on Social Security but I’m just trying to figure things out.
