Gonna rant about something I’ve seen murmurs of but have been passionate on for awhile. The resurgence of turn based combat RPGs In the 2000s all these Halo players would sneer if you said you liked RPGs and go “haha is that where they take turns hitting each other” and then for the next 20 years so many franchises bent themselves out of shape unsuccessfully trying to find a different system for people who were never going to play the games anyways. 1/2 Gamer Threads
