I have long recommended that all straight men go to a gay bar a time or two because being hit on by men you have zero interest in is an incredibly eye opening experience that will make you a better person. (It is, however, nice to see gay bars become more optional these day instead of utterly necessary, as tolerance raises. Or was. I hope still is.)
