As an artist who releases music on labels other than mine, and as an actual label owner who receives and listens to other people’s demos, I just want to give a lil food for thought. Sitting on both sides of this coin, I know it can be a real grind. But as label owner I’d be lying if I didn’t say I find it annoying when someone sends me an SC link to some tracks and it’s already got 50-100 listens. Like, I’m that far down on your priority list of labels, why should we work together?
