Rant. Frustrating when people ignore your disability especially when they know about them. Went to a hibachi place months ago with a friend and I said I’d prefer a regular table so I could actually hear him if he said anything. He insisted on sitting at the hibachi table so I gave in. He sat on my deaf side because he didn’t want to sit next to a stranger so the whole time he said something to me I never heard it. He kept getting frustrated but I was like you know that’s my deaf side 🤷🏻‍♂️.
