My nightmares tend to involve me being completely powerless. I will lose my voice and try to breathlessly rasp out the important words I have to say, to no avail. I will attempt to stand up for myself physically, only for my punches to be wet noodles. I will have something I want within my grasp, completely attainable, and always move closer to attaining it without ever getting there. They're all failed fantasies
