I was publicly shamed by my boss for knitting in a meeting. For the record, he’s a really awesome boss, but has definite ideas of professional protocol that I don’t necessarily agree with. What he failed to realize or acknowledge is that I was the only person actually paying attention to the speaker and asking pertinent questions while my peers were busy answering emails. I am angry and I will not be chilling out.
