Because initially everyone thought he was this cool inventor and then we found out he just bought stuff instead (which is fine), but then we learned more about him as a person and found out that not only is he not very smart, but he’s also kind of a douche. Then the problems with the low quality of some products like the Cybertruck and then him buying Twitter and messing it up. So he’s not the worst person, but he’s one of the more famous rich assh*les so he makes himself a target.
