While I love Arcane more than I can express, I wonder if the time jump between act 1 and 2 put too much faith in the audience and was a bit of a storytelling crutch or short cut. I know they have a tight nine each season and the story they wring out of it is nothing short of amazing, but this is what I've been contemplating the last couple of days since watching eps 4-6.
