I had an internal monitor placed and was allowed to push for 3 hours and get my VBAC. It allowed me to keep pushing while knowing my baby was safe, and the doctors knew that I wasn't going to have a c-section unless it was necessary. If I would've kept the external, there's no doubt I would've had another csection. He was just wiggling every where and it was picking up false decels. Didn't have a single one after the internal was placed. We need more doulas like you.
