🧵 I’m through my grief. The disappointment and anger has subsided. Sadly, in its place is a deep ambivalence. I just don’t care anymore. I can’t invest emotionally in a country that is clearly —openly— hostile to me, my family, and my friends. I am going to register as an independent this week. It will be the first time in my life I haven’t been a @thedemocrats. I will vote for liberals but I’m done working for them or donating to them. Their acquiescence to Trump is already crushing. 1/4
