Seed catalog season is almost here. That special time of year when most if not all gardeners start dreaming up plans and ideas. But before you pull out the credit card, this time of year is also great for seed saving. I was in my garden yesterday and collected basil, nasturtium and marigold seeds. Mother Nature is incredibly generous. One plant can yield dozens, hundreds or even thousands of seeds if you let it live out its lifespan. It’s magical and amazing and incredibly inspiring.
