I am so, so sorry that you had to experience that. My mother’s response to the announcement that I was pregnant with my first child was similar…and he is so much like me that it hurts. But I am striving to be the mom he needs me to be, and the mom I deserved at 14/15. It’s so difficult and frustrating to be on this side of MH stuff. Like. Why couldn’t she just get me the help I begged her for? I have been working so hard to get my kids the support they need. & I don’t tell them to “get over it”😠
