What happened was I had to switch medication management because of insurance changes. I had been previously managed monthly with my anxiety meds that I wanted to begin tapering off of. After my first intake appt, the new practitioner told me to just stop taking them and sent me home without any refill. I was on a moderately high dose for a year and I started to experience withdrawal effects immediately. I had been on a moderately high dose for a year.
